Very busy at the workshop at the moment, but not much to show apart from these unrelated pictures. We took a walk in some local sweet chestnut coppice woodland last week and I spotted this, a revolutionary steel re-enforced timber!

The next picture is my eldest son playing with lath off-cuts, exploring the concept of reciprocating framing principles! Note that these oak laths are approx 8mm thick and can easily be snapped by a child. There are no fixings and it is fully supporting his weight. Excuse the crude cut-out, just protecting the dignity of others that were in the background!
