Oak sales @ Weird and Wonderful Wood 2018

This is such a fun event for everything woody! Held in the heart of Suffolk in the amazing grounds of Haughley park. I typically have a stall and demonstrate peg-making and discuss all things timber framing. If you are planning to coming along, make sure you do come for the day and there is always plenty to see. There is multiple entertainment all day for all ages, it’s a really fun weekend.

This year I’ll be bringing some sections of green oak for sale. These pieces are basically unusable as are either short beam ends (~2-3ft x 8″ x 8″) or large straight grained ‘slab material’ (~6ft x 2″ x 12-24″).

19th & 20th May 2018

This is the third variation of the stall made specifically for the event. The frame is constructed from a variety of timber species just for the fun of it!
