I was drawn over the border into Norfolk and can confirm the above statement to be false. 

This small hipped frame will provide a nice light living space on the North wall of this Norfolk cottage. 


The walls are to be ‘direct glazed‘, which is something I have started to do more given the lack of expertise in the area. The gap to the far end will have a large opening window for views down the immaculate garden.  Only had the phone on the raising day, so very few pictures to select from, here’s one of the main wall going together. 



Then this wall together, excessive chamfers and all.


Please don’t critisise the size of the wall plate, it is HUGE for the span and the supports below. This is down to the structural engineer having clearly no experience of the structural properties of oak!
